Project Information
Hochkirch is an artisanal cider brand by Upper Left Studio and K. Trzópek, named after a German town meaning "High Church." The brand celebrates friendship and shared moments, crafting its beverages from local Polish apples and elderflowers hand-picked along Wrocław's Odra River. The visual identity features GT Alpina with playfully italicized letters, while the label combines Neue Haas Unica and Minion fonts. Hand-drawn illustrations and a flash-lit elderflower photograph add organic elements to the clean typography. Breaking from Poland's traditional beer-bottle packaging, Hochkirch comes in hand-numbered sparkling wine bottles. This naturally cloudy, vegan dry cider strikes a balance between sophistication and freshness, perfect for summer gatherings with friends.
